Beaz was brought up in a small town in North Carolina and was supposed to follow family tradition and become a lawyer at the firm but halfway through college Beaz drops out and moves to NYC to the NYPD where she finds police detective work wayyyy more exciting. Now she must find some friends and generally just live her dream life. Beaz doesn't think she'll ever need to have someone to love, not after Ricky, but after a few months she realises she does. Desperately.
