He was a badass with no love in his heart for anyone or anything except the forest. She was his muse. The one thing that broke him. The one thing he treasured. The sparkling jewel on top of the snack-sized snickers that he "accidentally" stole from the supermarket two days ago. (A modern version of the movie "The Secret of Moonacre".)

If you've foun this fic im going to assume you know the story of moonacre's histories, the warbetween the De-Noirs and the Merryweathers, the white horse- the unicorn given to the original moonprinces to guid her path through moon-princess hood, and ofcourse who could forget dear Rolf, the black Lion- turned dog there to guid the original moonprinces through the forest's and her magical life soon to come. But what if i told you that wasn't the full story? but instead there was a third animal given to the moon princess from nature herself! a great Elk- who when the curse was placed wasnt transformed into dear or some such but instead a....human? This story will be following such character as they try to protect Maria and learn the trth of their mythical past. I hope you enjoy ;)

Part 2: (Takes place after part 1- When a Young Heart Loves), Maria finds herself at a loss. With Robin's memories of her wiped clean, her last year in school, and the emergence of new enemies, Maria will have to work with her friends, and somehow regain Robin's trust, in order to return her life to some semblance of normalcy. Don't worry, Robin and Maria start working together by chp 6, I don't prolong it too much, though this still is a slowburn. Maria x Robin. The third and final story in The Secret of Moonacre Trilogy.] It's been two years since Maria destroyed the dark pearl. The valley has been peaceful and happy since. Everyone has been growing as individuals and as a family. But suddenly a long forgotten enemy rises and Moonacre is thrown into turmoil. War is declared, family is divided and love and trust are tested. The return of this foe has been changing things badly. And Robin just so happens to be one of them. What happens when Maria can't even recognize the man she loves? Who will help her save the valley once more? And just what does this dark individual want with her? On top of it all Maria realizes she has more powers than she knew and they are beginning to wield out of control. How will she learn to control them when she is the only one who possesses them? And someone near to Maria has a closely guarded secret that could change everything. Will they admit it and risk being shunned or cast out? Or will they hide it forever and watch the valley be destroyed? (Better than description I promise. XD)

Elizabeth was raised as part of the De Noir clan, but when a chance encounter with the demon dog from Merryweather Manor leaves her unscathed she begins to question her origins. - Elizabeth had never felt satisfied with her life. An adaptation of the movie "The Secret of Moonacre" which was loosely based on "The Little White Horse" book. This story introduces Constance Merryweather. A young 20-year old girl destined for more than the city life she was brought up in. After the sad and distressing death of both her Mother and Father Constance, her younger sister Maria and their determined governess Miss Heliotrope embark on new adventures in the West Country of England within the district of Moonacre Valley. A city girl in the countryside. What could possibly go wrong? It turns out a lot could. A story filled with fairy tales that turn to reality, bandits and plunderers threatening the borders of her new home and an unexpected acquaintance which could potentially blossom if they could only let go of their pride. NOTE - This will be a slow-paced story, I'm excited to explore Moonacre, in a different light, and do not want to rush it! Lysandra Heliotrope is a self-confessed criminal who disturbs the London streets with her gang of misfits, the Sons of Loki. Tragedy strikes the Merryweather family and the criminal is whisked away to the countryside under the care of her neurotic mother, Miss Heliotrope, and her now-orphaned charge, Maria Merryweather. But my enemies call me The Magpie." ↳ Maria Merryweather and her Uncle Benjamin are off to Jamaica for her uncle's final run. Maria has never been out at sea before and the month-long journey is getting torturous as is, so when she gets kidnapped by The Magpie, her first time on the ocean worsens. Maria learns of a rivalry between her privateer uncle and the infamous Cour de Noir while slowly falling for her captor who may be involved.

Maria Merryweather, the last Moon Princess of Moonacre Valley, has defeated the curse that would've plunged the valley into eternal darkness and despair. But how will life be once the curse has been raised? And what about setting everything else right? Will the families come to peace as they learn to navigate their familiar but new surroundings?

"I'll see you later, Princess~" "Wait..I need to ask you something Robin." Maria never thought she'd be standing in the dark, with the moon shining down on her and the young man in front of her. It was a pretty intriguing sight, in her opinion but so was Robin. The two had snuck out to meet and it was time to leave, but she couldn't. She had other things that interested her.

Having no family left except for an uncle she had never met who lived in the countryside who she is going to live with, Maria's life is altered as she discovers that there may be more to her than meets the eyes. - Based off the book "The Little White Horse" by Elizabeth Goudge and the film "The Secret Of Moonacre" I do not own any characters except for some.

this is story set many generations after the original movie, in a dimension where Robin, Maria, and a new character go through life struggles of a high schooler, family feuds, and battles of other worldly proportions. I own none of the characters except A.J, Crow, and Raven they're mine.!!
