Courtney is friends with the Adams Foster family, she is especially close with the twins. Her parents are divorced and she and her twin sister were sent to their dad's house. When in a drunken rage he beats the two girls, Courtney calls fo help. She calls Jesus Adams Foster knowing he'll get his mom there as quick as possible. But when Brandon is caught in a fleeting, unfaithful moment, the Adams-Fosters find their family facing trials and deliverances that could break all of them, leading up to the day of Callie's adoption, which could be destroyed with One.
