This is something I wrote for a lovely lady friend of mine. It seemed fitting for Guy to have dreamt this about Marian.

Christmas is drawing near, but in a distant land far to the East, Marian of Knighton is unable to celebrate. The victim of a crime of passion inflicted on her by Guy of Gisborne, she lies dying on the ground in a dusty Palestinian town, her love Robin Hood close by her side. As her friends struggle to save her life, Marian's spirit is taken on a journey through time, where she is forced to revisit the biggest regrets of her life. Accompanied by some familiar and beloved faces under the guise of the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, she comes to the realisation that certain life choices she has made have not been the best. But will she learn from her mistakes in time to save her own life as well as the lives of others?

It is Christmas, and the outlaw gang prepare for their celebrations. But there is one gift that Robin desires above all others - to spend Christmas Day with his love, Marian. A one-shot about friendship and love.

Returning to Nottingham after 11 years away, Roana of Locksley is keen to reconnect with her older brother, Robin. Guy meets again - after many years - Lady Violet of Chetwood, a childhood friend of Robin Hood; the widow of a man who mistreated her, the young woman has returned to her ancestral mansion and has always helped her friend Robin since he has been declared an outlaw, and therefore she's not well-disposed towards Guy, whom she knows since she was a child. Complicated dynastic events, however, will force her to approach precisely the black-clad knight for a marriage of convenience...
