(After Shadow Generations) After saying goodbye to Maria and Gerald for the final time, Shadow is struggling to find his place in the world. Shadow desires deep emotional connection, missing what he once had with his best, and only true friend, Maria Robotnik. But Shadow has spent almost his entire life building emotional walls around himself, and they aren't about to be torn down anytime soon. Or will they? A Shadamy fanfiction that somewhat explores Shadows deep emotional issues and grief. This is primarily a Shadamy fic, but I plan to include a lot of flashbacks of his time with Maria, and in particular to how she helped shaped him as a person. As well as how her chronic illness effected him personally. This is a Shadamy fic, but there will be zero sexual content, at the most some light kissing and cuddling etc. But plenty of sweet moments!! Zero cussing. Zero drugs or alcohol. And Sonic is not a jerk (well, mostly). Please bear with me as I messily go through this fic. No, I do not know what i'm doing. I'm just writing as I have the energy (as someone who also has a severe chronic illness) ‐---------- Just me writing out Shadow/Amy moments. I'm not sure yet of the ending! So bear with me! After another attempted failure in creating a cure for his sickly granddaughter, Maria, Professor Gerald Robotnik was getting desperate. His star pupil, Doctor Maci Garcia, offered a solution, creating the Ultimate Cure, Project: EMBER. Under the guidance of her professor, Doctor Maci was successful in creating Project: EMBER. Not ready to be introduced to the others, Ember was kept away in a different place in the Ark. When her test results came up with a high success rate for a cure, she was soon introduced to Maria, Abe, and Shadow. And thus a somewhat beautiful friendship blossomed. But it didn't last for long.

After escaping a miserable life as a lab experiment, an embittered Shadow becomes a criminal. His life changes when he escapes police custody and Mobius for planet earth and meets a lonely, ill girl.

Sequel to Thanksgiving. The triplets try to have a simple family Christmas dinner.

Maria tells Shadow allllll the wonderful tales of earth, as they both aspire to visit one day and enjoy all life down below. Shadow adores her to the core, as he's eventually left with nothing left of his precious friend. Just an old, 50 year old copy of a photo.

Project: Silver. Probably one of the worse things that have happened in Sonic and Shadow's short lives. The project that created Silver the Hedgehog, an unneeded part of their team. Gerald explained that Silver the Hedgehog was built as a backup plan- a last resort in case something happened to either Sonic and Shadow. Now, Sonic and Shadow thought he was useless. Sonic even facepalmed out of the room, saying that Gerald messed with the natural order of life for nothing. Silver knows they despise him- so he tries to prove himself; each time ending in miserable failure and only making them hate him more and more. Even Maria, the one who's kind to everybody else, seems to kind of hate him. - "What... What did I do wrong?" Silver murmured in his room with tears in his eyes. "Live." - Was their annoyance at the youngest member of their team a spark that ignited a fire that neither of them could get out of alive...together?

After being saved then yelled at by her blue hero for being weak, Amy decides to travel alone to improve her strength. Little does she know that there were surprises along her journey. She later meets an old friend of Shadow the hedgehog, a friend of hers, bringing her closer to him. There will be battles, there will be tears, and romance has its part to play.
