The three formed a fast friendship during their time at MIT from 1990 to 1993, bonded by brilliance, ambition, and the shared understanding of what it meant to live several steps ahead of the rest of the world. After graduation in 1993, Avery vanished. Tony never saw her again - but he never stopped hearing her name. Over the years, she built an extraordinary career at NASA, quickly rising through the ranks to become one of their top scientists. Then, in 2005, she reappears without warning at Stark Industries' doors - newly dismissed from NASA and in need of a job. Tony offers her one. And just like that, gravity pulls them back into each other's orbit. On the 29th of May, two babies came into the world carrying the name of Stark. Tony and Eva. Twins. Years later it was obvious that both children preferred their father. They both loved their mother but never cared for her presence. Maria had finally had enough. She took her daughter when Tony and Howard were out and sold her to HYDRA. While at HYDRA Eva turns into something, a monster. She wants out, but does she have the power?

On the eve of the death of Jack Murdock, Howard Stark received a phone call. Jack, was a son of a former Howling Commando, and close friend to Howard. That night, he called and begged Howard to take his son if anything were to happen to him in the fight that night. Maria, was hesitant about it, but told him to agree, since she and Howard could no longer have any children, but they didn't expect to actually take him in. Howard began to favor Matt, as he saw more of Steve Rogers in him, over his own child, Tony. Maria, began to hang around more, and no longer feared the hand of her husband. For once she seemed happy. Tony, became extremely jealous of him, and was the only one to treat Matt poorly. Matt, tried to look up to him for guidance and help, but was returned with abandonment, and heartache. This went on for five years, when in 1997 Howard, Maria, and Matt were on their way to the airport when the Winter Soldier takes their car out. Matt, was knocked out on impact, and awoke to Bucky strangling the last life out of Maria, and seeing the face of Bucky, scared, he remained quiet until he had disappeared. Matt vowed that night, that he would avenge the deaths of his Dad, and the Starks. He lived with Edwin Jarvis, where he trained with Peggy, and Stick. When Jarvis died, he was left in the care of Tony for the rest of his teenage years. There, he trained himself, and barely saw Tony, who still blamed him for the death of his parents, and hated that he lived, while they didn't. He basically was left alone in the New York home to fend for himself. Years later, as a Lawyer, Matt, is shoved into the spotlight as Tony and the events of Civil War are picking up. Nelson and Murdock are volunteered to be the lawyer of one Bucky Barnes. Matt Murdock must come to sense with what is right, and the urging sense of revenge that is pulsing in his gut. While he still defends the streets of Hell's Kitchen as Daredevil, and lives under the terror of his older brother IronMan.

When part of the Avengers are thrown back in time find the Soul Stone, they encounter the wild truth about the what was SHIELD. A woman in a red dress takes them hostage, and their only hope is to be saved by Agent Carter and Howard and Maria Stark. During all of this, Thanos has followed them back, hoping to get into the Infinity Stone before anyone else, even if this means death. Legally, I do not own any of the characters or whatever. Note: I will state now that it will not all be correct, and in some aspects, I am glossing over things as well as rewriting events. I am focusing more on the movies and a little on "Agents of Shield." I do not mean to do this entirely, however to further the plot, it was necessary. I hope you can understand. Also, obviously, this does not follow "Infinity Wars" plot because it was written and published before "Infinity Wars" came out. This will written because I was sick and tired of Maria Stark having no backstory and was constantly there to further the plot points of males around her, in the comics and in the movies. While this is fictional and not based much on her character, I did try to keep it as close to the material I was able to find online as possible. This story is about Tony Stark's parents. In the first Captain America movie we met Howard Stark and I'm sure that soon--maybe with the Peggy Carter show that's been talked about--we'll see Maria Stark, Tony's mom. My take on how they met? Maria Collins worked for SHIELD, initially in the secretary/typing pool. Peggy Carter met her and recruited her as an agent. Of course Howard works with SHIELD at times, so the rest is inevitable. I don't want to spoil the entire story for you so (pssst!) start reading ;)
