Young Marie lives a rather boring life in New Orleans. Her father is a Catholic priest and her mother died just over a year ago. However, Marie's morals and principles will be put to the test when her world gets turned upside down during a class field trip. She will have to find out if she ever really knew her mother and whether she is willing to forsake her upbringing and her relationship with her father to find this out. Will Marie fold under the pressure or will she rise to the occasion and make the right decision? You'll have to read to find out.

Amethyst is the Daughter of the famous voodoo queen Marie Laveau but also Hades and she's also dating the future king of Auradon Ben so when he brings over four Vks to Auradon and one magically spells Ben to leave amethyst without knowing she with his child amethyst runs off to the isle of the lost were she meets and is taken in by her father. When she makes new friends she makes she makes a promise to make Ben and the core pay.
