Spirit Albarn is a born star. An amazing artist, with a seductive voice. Franken Stein is an escaped patient from a psych ward. Both have suffered from unfair lives. What would happen, exactly, if these two were to encounter each other? What would happen if they found out the others secret? In a world monsters and humans live together, there are those who believe that they are above others. Some do not know which lives matter. Then there's some who don't know who they are. Our story begins in a little black car riding through Death Valley.

After the fall of Asura (Anime version), everyone is dealing with many situations in different ways: Old memories from his past haunt Death Scythe, Spirit Albarn; The students of the DWMA experience closer ties with each other; Soul and Maka become closer; Crona becomes accepted and ends up in love- with someone everyone else doesn't expect; Death the Kid worries about when the time comes and he takes over his father's postition; and the others close follow with similar scenarios. However, when a woman Spirit and Maka Albarn knows all too well returns to Death City, Spirit feels maybe his life might not be as bad after all- until another kishin threatens and more foes return. After Spirit was no longer Stein's weapon, Stein went off on his own. Getting into fights and dissecting anything he can. Lucky for him after getting beaten up pretty bad a young girl who just graduated from the DWMA found him and took care of him. Being a weapon and the top of her class she and Stein seemed to hit it off really well. They ended up getting married and having a little girl. But this happy little family didn't last long. Stein's wife ended up dying at a young age, leaving her daughter to keep her father in check. Now Eva is a student at the DWMA and her father a teacher. But there's a hidden evil lurking the halls of the school and it's up to Eva to make sure that her father doesn't fall victim.
