Marinette has lost pretty much everything. No one believes her, save Chloe, Luka, and Kagami, but everyone seems to hate her. When hers parents send her over seas to her biological father, Bruce Wayne, she wonders if life will start to look up. Of course, once she gets there, it seems that the universe is playing one big joke on her. So what happens when she meets her saving grace , a boy named Jon Kent. Does her life turn around? Or will she sink forever below the waves that threaten to consume her?

Marinette has to go to Gotham to find one Alfred Pennyworth, but why? Leaving behind her old life and coming to Gotham, Marinette learns the meaning and the importance of having a home and having a life worth living. Add in some romance with a cute boy with blue eyes and you have Home is Where the Heart is.

What most people don't know about Marinette Dupain-Cheng, is that her real name is actually Marinette Martha Wayne. She was raised together with her twin brother Damian. They got separated and while Damian got to live with his father, Marinette was sent to Paris. She used the name Dupain-Cheng, because she didn't want anybody knowing her real name. But what happens if Lila Rossi fulfills her promise? What if she got reunited with her twin? What will the bat-family think? And the most important question. Will karma finally come for Lie-la Rossi?

Marinette and Damian are twins. Marinette is older than him by 15 minutes though. They grew up together and always had each others backs. This story is the story of one Marinette Martha Wayne-Kent life from her beginning to her end I only created the story line the characters belong to their respective company's and the pictures are ones found on the internet

Marinette's class gets chosen to go on a trip to Gotham. There, she makes new friends, finds love and oddly enough, keeps on running into the local villains and vigilantes of Gotham.

"I can't be doing this." "When are you going to tell him." "I have to tell him tomorrow. It's over." ....... "I can't believe I love my best friend's girlfriend." "I can't believe I love my boyfriend's best friend."

Getting abandoned and tossed aside by your family tends to fester a strong hurt and resentment toward said family. No matter their reasons, no parent should ship off their child to another continent. No child should have to be separated from their parents under the pretense that said child will be safe. Unfortunately... that doesn't seem to be the case for our young protagonist Marinette. Having Bruce Wayne as your father whether by blood or adoption tends to end in disaster. Every child the Dark Night takes in ends up resenting him one way or another. Having him as your biological father, however, is another curse in itself. can this broken family reconcile and make amends? Or will the hatred and bad blood in this family only grow?
