They want either their payment or their rare cards back, but he no longer has many of the cards he bought, stole, or traded from them. In an effort to tie up loose ends, Marik goes on a quest of his own to try and win back the rare cards he owes to his dealers. This is how Marik runs into Lily, an orphaned girl with a past as mysterious as she is. With Yami Bakura on the hunt for innocent souls to feed to the Shadow Realm, Lily's was on the list and Marik, riddled with the guilt of his past, will not allow him to take her. Either way, whatever is going on, Yami Bakura is stuck here for the time being. This new world can very much be doomed, or it could mean another crazy vagrant.
