One Day Team Rocket trys to steal Pikachu. Ash and Pikachu send them blasting off. What happens when Pikachu is blasted away and he meets a sweet Marill?

Tapping Spiders Project book 1 (intended to be 1 of 3) A friend of mine categorized this story as science fiction, although I personally feel that I could make a case for fantasy or horror. But I'll go with that because I was never able to classify it properly for my own satisfaction. Perhaps Marill could have done better. It all began with the War, with the cult of Liss and the King's Knights, a war that never happened since those events and everything concerning concerning them were wiped from history and forgotten. But not everything was wiped away and elusive remnants of those times still remain. In a small town that civilization has almost but not quite caught up with there's a local story, an urban legend, concerning pale spiders and a cave, and tapping in the night... cover prototype 1 in place. subject to revision.

Tapping Spiders project Book 2 (currently in progress, title subject to revision) In order to conform with the category of the first book, this one will be science fiction also, although once again I could argue for different categorization. Marill's copy may be dead, having failed to protect the Artifact but the original Marill and her people are still very much alive. The spiders are nowhere to be found and even the shadows have vanished for the present but to replace them are hordes of nightmare creatures, a cage of impenetrable vines whose thorns and leaves cut like razors and other dangers which only appear as glowing eyes in the deepest shadows. To make matters worse, her creations are slowly crumbling around her and over everything there towers the spire, a dark and ominous obelisk, seemingly impervious to everything she'd created to fight the shadows. For the Librarians, the loss of an entire Archive and the theft of the Artifact from the Vault has sent ripples of shock through the entire Order. Worse than this, however are the anomalies, strange events occurring with increasing frequency and randomness. The Council's Advocate has ordered the Library's mandate revoked but apparently on his own authority has appropriated the facility and it's personnel for his own purposes...

(ON A HIATUS FOR NOW) "Who's that coming to solve the mysteries of the regions ahead? Who's that Pokemon? Marill! It's Marill!" Meet Marill, who crashlanded from the Johto region to Kalos via a weird portal from above to have her own adventure of her very own, leaving Professor Elm's lab. Meet Sumiya, who works at Lumiose's biggest office, not knowing what will come for her in the future. She encountered Marill after a long work day and bonded after their conversation at the Pokemon Centre. One day, the power at Lumiose City turns off, and soon enough, the same happens in other huge cities in different regions. Marill and Sumiya have to find out what's going on. (This is my version of the Detective Pikachu movie from 2019, but a different AU and a different main story).
