A young, ambitious, sea loving girl named Marina Conchiglia. Who's living on the coast line of the Mediterranean Sea in Portofino, Italy. Meets a young, confident, and charming merman named Gill Correnti and falls in love with him. She doesn't know if he feels the same but her father hunts mermen & sea monsters and would never want his daughter to be with one. At the same time Gill's father is Cuthulu and gets angered when he's around humans, and like Marina's dad, would never want his son to be with someone who isn't their own kind.
