A young woman(Blake) who has just recently joined the Marine Corps gets deployed to Afghanistan. While there, she meets another Marine(Dallas). Dallas and Blake are assigned to one another as "battle buddies".As they become closer throughout the months, their friendship turns into more. Also I know some of it may not be historically correct, as I am not in the military, I just know a lot about it :))
