During the events in the movie The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Peach, the kind and fearless princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, tells her origins to Mario and Toad and throughout the story (both of the movie and hers) she will face several challenges and realizes that the weight of carrying the crown is not easy. Challenges such as responsibilities, rejection and failures. But it is a beautiful and exciting story full of love, forgiveness, perseverance, courage and a powerful and beautiful purpose, as well as a fire flower

(Warning: The following story is apart of the Super Mario Bros Movie Rewrite series. If you have not read previous stories, it may not make sense.......But hey! I'm not here to judge! Read at your own decision! Who knows? Maybe you'll like it!) Being stuck in another world can make one feel quite homesick! Even if that proverbial one is a heroic plumber who has saved the world before! Enter Mario and Luigi, plumbers from another world who were sucked to the mushroom kingdom and got trapped there due to Luigi's clumsiness and Mario's selfishness.... But since then, they've been working to build that way back home that so dearly desire. And then, finally, they build it! With the help of some mysterious strangers though.... Now, they're back in their world, but life isn't going to be as good as it used to be.... They have a few problems to fix....which are ultimately caused by them, but they have enough on their plates right now besides realizing that....

Bowser had won, everything was lost. Peach had lost her kingdom, the Toads had lost hope. And Mario? He had lost his brother. Now he's going to do whatever it takes to make Bowser pay, even if it costs him his life.

Mario decides it's finally time to ask Peach on a date and, despite being warned by his brother that the last time didn't go very well, does just that. The date goes fairly well, ending with a kiss on the cheek and a jokingly stolen hat, but as Bowser watched jealously from above he formulates a plan to steal that meddling plumber away under the cover of darkness. With just his hat and his brother to keep her strong, Peach has to set out to save Mario from the clutches of that evil turtle, and perhaps come to terms with her own feelings in the process.
