"Akumas aren't the only threat Paris has." A curse has taken root in Paris. A witch with an old grudge against Adrien envokes a terrible fate upon the boy, one that would force Paris into an uproar of fear and Ladybug into a spiral of murder cases, brutal attacks, and robbery almost every night without the help of her partner, Chat Noir, who mysteriously vanishes during the night. And if that wasn't enough, Adrien Agreste begins acting strangely at school, leading Marinette to wonder how he, Chat Noir, and the werecat were all related.

Jason can't help but feel it should have been him and not the previous Robin. Disclaimer - I don't own Young Justice of Miraculous Ladybug. This is written for the Hurt/Comfort challenge for Saturday of Jasonette month for 2021, but it also ended up working for the first Froday Flash Fiction challenge for the month of July as well where the theme is motivation and Ladybug's motivation in this is Hurt/Comfort. That of course means I need it to be at least 100 words.

This was written for Jasonette Month for 2021, the prompt being Protection the prompt for the 6th but the story ss open to interpretation - basically, whether its a one-sided crush on Jason's part is up to the reader.
