In the sequel, Pauline and Daisy join Mario and Luigi to face Bowser Jr who is planning on rescuing his father. Meanwhile, far off in the galaxy, Princess Rosalina is there to help. However, it'll be hard for Daisy to help with her powers fading. Mario, Luigi and Pauline fall into a pipe and end up in a different world. Mario and Pauline end up in the Mushroom Kingdom while Luigi is in the dark lands and meets Princess Daisy.

Mei Hatsume was captured by the League of Villains, as she was forced to work on some sort of new invention for them that will combine weapons and more. She got to work as Class 1-A and 1-B along with other Pro Heroes were closing in, and right when it was finished, the two sides got into a scuffle as Shigaraki activated the weapon that Mei called, "The SuperMerge." But something went wrong as the worlds of MHA... And Smash Bros worlds were both combined. Now, Izuku, Mario and their friends will have to team up to face off against the LOV and the growing and dangerous threat of the Megabug. With new allies on their side, new enemies under the command of the league, and the home that they all share in ruins, they need all the help they can get. Time for a Kingdom Battle! Mario tries to avoid Doctor Mario. It wasn't that he disliked the Doctor, but he just found it very strange to be in the same room as the guy. He didn't understand how or why there was another him. On top of that, Mario is worried about Princess Peach; he feels like she doesn't want to talk to him every since the Odyssey. After an accident, he is forced to confront them both.

Based on Sonic Prime on Netflix. Thanks to the accidental help from Mario, Bowser has discovered the Rift Ruby, a powerful gem that can create alternate dimensions of anyone's current universe. After Rosalina informs Mario and Luigi about his evil plans, both the bros, along with Waluigi, Peach, and Daisy, they all gather up at Mount Beanpole to stop Bowser from shattering their world. But Bowser has other plans, while Mario charges up for his wind up punch, Bowser dodges quickly from his attack and causes Mario to break the Rift Ruby ultimately creating the Shatterverse. It is the end of Mario Odyssey and Mario has just rescued Princess Peach from Bowser yet again. Yet her behavior toward Mario has him very upset. Mario confronts Peach about her indifferent treatment toward him after he risked so much for her and discovers a dark secret she has been keeping for years. This story touches on a dark/heavy theme and Bowser is made more traditionally evil.

Princess Daisy's ex is back in town and wants to tae her away from Luigi. When she refuses, a bargaining chip is brought out. It is decided a race will decide who will get Daisy's hand, only this time it's cars not carts. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Daisy must use all of their racing skills to keep their family together.
