i got the idea of this story from Ruths new show the woman in the wall. Marisa gives birth to Lyra and goes on with her life. Randomly one night she started having dreams about a little Lyra and contacts the master to find out she's dead. A familiar face tells her she isn't and knows where she is

What if Mrs Coulter had sister? The story revolves around Marley delamare, an explorer up north whom Lyra meets in trollesant whilst with the gyptians. As the story takes place, secrets about Marisa and the Delamare's get unravelled.

Will and Lyra agreed to steal the Alethiometer back from Sir Charles (Lord Boreal), the man who had previously stolen it from Lyra. As Will held the man and Lyra ran for it, but quickly stopped herself when she found out someone holding it. And the person who stood there was no other than her mother - Mrs. Coulter! This is a story we all well know but it's not as it seems. It's not like the story we know in the way many things are different but how you may ask ? Well what if Lyra knew Asriel was her dad from day 1 but believed her mother died during childbirth. What happens when the day Lyra comes into contact with her mother without even knowing it ?

Not as interesting as the title lol. Basically if anyone's watched the umbrella academy remember Lila had a blue dress on in S2? To me that reminded me of the dress Lyra wore when running away from Mrs Coulter. And Lila in S3 looks amazing with the blonde hair omg. So basically I came up with the idea what if Lyra had died her hair blonde during the time of running from Mrs Coulter before episode 6 in season one. I also am scared shitless because I don't want Mrs Coulter to die in S3 but I know she will because I've read the books so I atleast want to write something about her.

The master and Charles track down and find Marisa Coulter, Lyra's mother who wants her daughter desperately, who was kept from her all these years from Asriel. No letters, no photos. Left in the dark and missing Lyra. Wanting her, The Master and Charles want Lyra to have a normal suitable home that wasn't at Jordan college where she would lead a happy normal life and education. Send her to live with her mother in London.
