You're the kid who always gets in trouble. Well, I have to confess, good job on this one." Grantaire tried to joke but he was still nervous as hell. "You're Grantaire, right?" He was surprised the boy even knew his name and he responded with a kind nod. "Yes. That would be me, R, Grantaire, whatever. But what the hell happened to you, you don't just get robbed inside of school?" --------------------------------------------------------------- Or, an E/R modern school AU where E is in trouble and R helps him, I guess. In this story, I will write Les Miserables one-shots which are based in my mind on the colors Red and/or Black. They probably won't be long, and I certainly hope that they're good, or decent. For Enjolras, the past six months have been the most incredible time of his life. Six months ago, he married his best friend Grantaire. Life couldn't be any better - and then, in addition to all of the great things going on, he and his business partner, Marius (both of whom are lawyers at Valjean Law Firm), get to take the lead on one of the biggest trials of the decade. Basically just a fun, domestic, modern day Les Mis story featuring all of your favorite revolutionaries!

Starts at Éponines death. Main story will be the characters in the after life. In this version Enjolras dies before Éponine and is the one who guides her to the light. Just like Fantine does with Valjean

How am I supposed to die at the barricades when I see my future in your eyes? Love had never been in the cards for Enjolras. He could never take his eyes away from his beloved Patria for long enough to notice women around him. At least, that was the case until the sapphire eyes of a woman from a cabaret began to consume his every thought. I am not Victor Hugo. I do not own any of the characters from Les Misérables.

Enjolras and Grantaire are together now, but the world is still a cruel place, and death is ever unforgiving.

"We were children together...look what's become of me." Sometimes the wheel turns, and the little girl with prettiest clothes and toys grows up into a beautiful but ragged young lady who has almost next to nothing, while the child she had refused to help gets what she needs and wants, and more.

Eponine comforted Grantaire when Enjolras rejected him and now they're friends but when she takes a bullet for Marius, Grantaire has to watch her die from the backseats. Can be read as a sequesl to The Migthy Apollo or as a seperate one shot.

-ONGOING- a modern Les Misérables AU Both Enjolras and Éponine are not at all straight. The former totally fancies Grantaire, and the latter is head over heels for Cosette. Gender identities such as theirs is a taboo subject in the modern world of today. Their conservative parents and the illiberal school that they attend to, would definitely not tolerate such kind of disparity. Therefore, in order to conceal their true colors, and spare the remaining pride that they have got, Enjolras and Éponine come up with a deal to put on a show and date. Eponine and Grantaire understand what its like to be lonely and desire someone so much it hurts your whole body. They form an agreement of understanding.

Morality isn't black and white and doesn't run in blood. But it may seem that way when at birth you are lumped with the black hearted and condemned to a life of poverty. You may be convinced it runs thick within your veins. I changed the kid's names so they don't just mirror their parents. Mal is Mallory's nickname Evie is Liolite (cause I could) Jay is Hasim I got rid of Cruelella Devil's son and put in Ursula's son, Marius. I think this will be a better set up for the sequel and help keep a more consistent tone.
