This story is basically what the title says; Lady Midnight written from Mark Blackthorn's point of view in the form of (kinda) diary entries. NOTE: I do not own Lady Midnight, it's characters, or it's plot.

[set immediately after Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare, contains Dark Artifices, Infernal Devices and Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy spoilers] 'The boundary separating the mortal world and Fearie hit Mark like a wall of iced water. He clung to his horse's mane, leaning low on its back to gaze down at the soaring fields and twisting, blood-red rivers that ran beneath them.' With each shadowhunter still reeling from loss, the Blackthorn family is almost falling apart. Julian and Emma must put hundreds of miles between them just to survive. Mark is torn between Christina and Kieran, Faerie and the Shadow World. Ty is hurt. Kit is lost. Everything is spiralling out of control, and the stakes are higher than ever. But, as always, there is hope for the Blackthorns- when they are torn apart, they will give anything to come back together.

Emma and Mark have both found peace in their Lives. Emma, Living with Julian at Blackthorn hall in London, the two engaged, and Mark, with Christina and Kieran in both Faerie at the "Polyamorous Cottage" and partial residency at the New York Institute with Clary, Jace, Magnus Alec, Simon and Izzy. When Mark and Christina are in town with Emma and Julian, Emma and Mark reminice over dinner before being accosted by a dmeon, when the two wake up, they find they are in Los Angeles, less than a year before Mark returned home, with no Christina in sight.

**LADY MIDNIGHT SPOILERS IN DESCRIPTION** "Why lie?" It is two weeks since Emma told Julian that she could never be with him. Emma and Mark's relationship is apparently blooming, which is destroying Julian. Meanwhile at the LA Institute, an unexpected visitor arrives, bringing bad news that will disturb and intervene with the lives of each shadowhunter. Who is it, and what news do they bring? This story is an alternative to Lord of Shadows. So basically, I've taken some of Cassandra Clare's teasers for Queen of Air and Darkness and built plots around them. However I've not done all , mostly the relationship ones ahah ;) so please do not expect the real mystery to be written here. The main plot ideas will be described extremely briefly. The storm calls you as it calls me, does it not? After Emma and Julian confessed there love for each other and then Emma called it off, mark and Emma talk about fake being in love but mark asks Emma why they should lie. Emma having had a a slight crush on him when she was younger of course she would say yes . With them together what will happen next will Julian and Cristina fall in love what about Ty and Kit ? Will livvy and Ty become parabati Or not? Will Helen come home? Will mark stay or will the fairy's or the clave take him away? What about kieran will he become jealous of mark and Emma ? No one knows except you the reader of this book.

This is mainly based off the books but if requested I will do some off the show.

Ty grew up in the institute, surrounded by family, and other personnel that he was close to. Kit had grown up in the basement of a shack in downtown LA. Ty is the only one that understands Kit's need for solitude, especially after watching his father get murdered by demons. Kit is the only who understands Ty's autism. They call themselves even. / set after QOAAD but Livvy didn't die.
