After the battle between the Shadowhunters and the Endarkened the Blackthorn children return to the Los Angeles Institute, together with the Cross family - Gideon, Alexandria and their two children Grayson and Amelia. While everyone else seems to accept the Clave's decision not to look for Mark Blackthorn, who is still missing, Amelia is determined to find him. Not willing to accept the fact that he might be lost forever, she starts looking for him on her own. Supported by her brother, Emma and Julian and with the help of Clary and Jace she tries to find Mark and to bring back home the Shadowhunter she loves.

Mark Blackthorn's heart and mind are battling against each other- constantly. His mind wants to forget the prince of the Unseelie Court but his heart wants to remember Kieran forever. They say follow your heart, but when you are a Shadowhunter, ruled by the Clave and its motto: 'the law is hard, but it is the law', when your own sister was exiled due to her Downwolder blood which is no other than faerie blood and when your family is in danger of being destroyed, due to the secrets your younger brother keeps- What should you follow? Caution: Lady Midnight Spoilers & Yaoi. It's my first fanfic, so feedback is more than welcomed. The majority of the characters and places belong to the amazing Cassandra Clare, who created the world of the Shadowhunters.

With no choice, they endeavour to find the missing Clary and Jace in the land of faerie, all the while fighting to oppose the parabatai curse that keeps them running. This is a short story about Mark and Emma from The Dark Artifices Lady Midnight. All rights go to Cassandra Clare, of course. I love her. I don't ship them as a couple, but I love them both and just wanted to write a story about them. I'm not from a country where English is the first language, so please correct me if some sentences or words aren't right, thanks! Enjoy! Emma and Mark have both found peace in their Lives. Emma, Living with Julian at Blackthorn hall in London, the two engaged, and Mark, with Christina and Kieran in both Faerie at the "Polyamorous Cottage" and partial residency at the New York Institute with Clary, Jace, Magnus Alec, Simon and Izzy. When Mark and Christina are in town with Emma and Julian, Emma and Mark reminice over dinner before being accosted by a dmeon, when the two wake up, they find they are in Los Angeles, less than a year before Mark returned home, with no Christina in sight.
