He couldn't spend forever loving a man who'd never love him back. He just needed to move on. At first, it was...Awkward. Horribly. Awkward. From getting freaked out by a part bug guy, to not understanding an alien, to his own co-worker asking him out! It was just. Too. Hard. Dating felt impossible. Then he met them, in that same damned elevator. Their nervous smile, their stupid jokes, their shy enthusiasm for the movies...They felt right. Perfect, like they were made for each other. Both were in a rough patch, both could understand each other's feelings. Maybe, everything would be fine.
