Emeline Briyar was the daughter of a Lord of East Anglia. Betrothed to the son of a Lord of Wessex, who could lay claim to the throne one day. All her life she had been trained how to be a wife and a mother. That was until her town was pillaged by Danes. Now she was a Lady of nowhere but the road she travelled and the sword she carried.
