Marks Stories

At the age of fifteen, every wizard and witch shows a mark on their body. This mark tells us one thing from the appearance of your magical familiar. It can be owl wings, dog paw, deer horns and many others on every part of your body. Each of these marks is unique. These signs help us find our familiar but if we don't find them then they will come to us. On his fifteenth birthday, Harry has a very large and interesting mark on his back.

When someone comes into your life and goes after leaving you with an urge; how do you know if the urge was given to you by their bond or did they bring an inactive side of you to life?

People can't say anyone's given name until they find their soulmate, everyone has their soulmate's hobby as well as their own placed on their dominant arm. That's why when we talk about it, we call it our mark. When someone finds their soulmate, the first time they touch they both become able to say people's given name. Not only that but, their marks become their soulmate's full name. Unless you're me, my mark is different from everyone else. My mark is the given name of my soulmate, and I can't say his surname. When I was born, the doctors did some research and found that my mark is the first of it's kind. Nobody knows what'll happen when I find my soulmate, or if it'll work the same way that other marks do. Dear Readers, I must apologize, in advance, for any mistakes that I may have made in my story. 'Three...' Beth started. 'Two...' 'One!' I ripped my hand from my left cheek and smiled, looking into Beth's eyes to get an answer. 'What colour is it?' 'Oh my gosh...Brooke...' She touched my cheek and I flinched. 'What? What colour is it?' I said, impatiently. 'Is it gold? Oh, gosh, if it's gold-!' 'Brooke, it's blue!' Beth shouted at me, grabbing my shoulders and shaking me. My smile disappeared. ----- Everyone gets a colour on their sixteenth birthday. Red; average, gold; famous. When something goes terribly wrong on Brooke's sixteenth, her life turns upside down and she has to live in fear.

The marks on Sabrina's hand were appearing out of nowhere. With each mark that appears, a broken piece of memory was brought back to her. They were odd, maybe even hinting something..... Every time a new mark appears, someone disappears. Disappearance leads up to death. And somehow, the way they were killed were all very similar. Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, the mysterious knife she found under her bed proved that this was only the beginning.

In a place with a very religious, yet corrupt Empire; we meet a boy who lives in a village on the outskirts of the land. He is to be 14 very soon. Due to the harsh livings and rough environment, the boy grew up with training in combat and also did well as an archer. Though no one knows of his training except for his uncle so far. The boy has no status in the land, mainly due to his age, and keeps to himself. A war is believed to be coming. He has no clue about the prophecy however. It states that one day a boy will rise, along with a few others, to defeat a corruption in the land. These few were all gifted at birth, though they do not know of their capabilities. These few also a special Mark that proves the prophecy is about them. The prophecy document is found by one of the corrupt rulers men and he decides to go along with a few of the solider, checking every village for these gifted kids with the Mark.

Humans have marks. The ones that show where your soulmate first touches you and than the ones that are usually covered up. The ones no one talks about. They show how you'll die.
