Mark was not the kind of person to interest Fyodor...usually. The American sharpshooter, however, was another story.

Sir Bartholomew, a retired high-ranking crusader, grapples with the cost, brutality, and impact of his holy wars that he lead throughout the Holy Land. This short story delves into the moral complexities of religious zeal and the enduring quest for redemption in a world scarred by the folly of men.

These poems are phrases and words from the classic Mark Twain book, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. This type of poetry is called found poetry. It's taking what's there and creating a new masterpiece!

My heart hammers in my chest. Fire trails down my spine. My shoulders contort, my back stretches, my face breaks... I fight him. I struggle. I rage. And still I am being taken. My sight fades. Hailed as a great American novel, the book describes the adventures of Huck Finn and a runaway slave Jim, down the Mississippi River. the series of escapades and situations and the journey down the river is truly a voyage from relative innocence to frightful knowledge. Even as Mark Twain brilliantly etches the contemporary American society, he also captures the comedy, terror, resilience and spontaneity of boyhood.
