Dakota Adams is the 4th member of the ARES III crew. She was stuck on Mars along with her EVA partner, Mark Watney. Dakota was stuck on Mars along with Mark in hope to save him. They must work together along with NASA to bring them home.

Mark Watney, a botanist of the Hermes spacecraft headed on thei way to Mars was not expecting to find himself alone and left behind after the crew was told to abort mission. However, Mark isn't quite as alone as he thought. Now he has to get past the many barriers they come across and figure out a way to send Mark back home. Preferably alive.

Mark Watney spent a year and a half on Mars trying to survive till someone could rescue him. When that happened, the media and NASA proclaimed him an American hero, but that wasn't all there was to the story. The true story about how one man with wit and potatoes on Mars didn't go mad is hidden away in NASA for their own protection...but Mark Watney won't settle for that.

Desdemona, or "Desi" Moore was a 35 year old Chemist and Physicist who went on the Ares 3 in 2035. Sadly when a storm hits Mars the crew is forced to leave, by tragic accidents leaving 2 of their crew members behind thinking they were dead. How will they survive? How will they Bond? Read to find out what happens to the 2 only humans in one entire planet. This book is a fanfiction from the movie (and possible book i haven't read yet) The Martian. I own the character Desdemona Moore and everything she does. Also the different ideas that are not from the movie which is where I took most dialogue off.
