Avia Scott was a normal teenager living the life on the coast. Surfing, skating, and singing are all daily tasks for Avia. Just beginning Junior year of high school is stressful as it is- but realizing the only guy she had ever loved has moved on? Even more, the cute neighbor next door found her notebook full of songs she has written. This is about to be a summer full of adventure. Stay tuned.

I have always been mesmerized by water and beaches are naturally my favourite places. Marmoris was one beautiful word I came across recently. It originates from a Latin word meaning marble. Marmoris refers to the marble-like surface of the ocean. I have also always seen water as a source of inspiration. Water always finds a way - it may cut through, circumvent, overflow, percolate, but in the end, it finds a way. It is one of the softest elements but the most persistent. We should always move on and be in a constant flow like water - after all stagnant waters leave a stench!! This simple poem is just an expression of my feelings when I am in the water.
