Seonghyeon is half fox, half human. His mother is a gumiho and his father is a human. Long ago, gumihos were feared by villagers. Seonghyeon used to mistake Martin's control for love. The way he chose things for him. Spoke for him. Held him close enough to forget where he ended, and Martin began. It never felt dangerous. It's just warm. Like burgundy wine, scarlet lips, rusted promises - all the different shades of red he kept calling beautiful.
