In the lands of Ooo and Aaa live vampire kingdoms of royalty, both commandeering dutifully over their people along side neighboring kingdoms. Over the centuries, the two lands have been able to stay independent without help from other lands though for the last few decades, the two lands have faced an increase in attempted raids, assassinations, and invasions. Realizing that they both finally need to help, they ally themselves with one another. Now it is time for the new generation to seal the alliance.

The story is about a convict who successfully escapes from jail and is set out to hunt those who helped convict him including Lacey (the scared yet independent single mum). Successful US marshal Justin Blake is set out to make sure the convict's plan does not work and is sent to jail before hurting Lacey whom he has taken a liking to.

We all know what went down in the end but what happens next summer when Dipper and Mabel come back with a friend? That's right! YOU'RE their friend my friend!! As everyone says, "everyone deserves a second chance" and to me it doesn't matter if it's a human, animal, your favourite anime character or ever a dream demon that looks like a gold pyramid with a top hat and bow tie (FYI bow ties where made cool in 2010 by the Doctor) with a badass cane to go with it. EVERYONE, deserves a second chance but I wonder. Who gave Bill a second chance?

Some were a bit scared of him in fact, but what they didn't know was, Marshal was a smug, kind, respectful, guy. Which was also a coffee lover. Here's a review by Rebecca Wheeler from Amazon: Great Mystery Romance! I really enjoyed this!! This was a great fast read, that really gripped me from the first chapter, and I had trouble putting it down until the final page, which I read with the biggest smile on my face!! This book, is essentially a mystery romance, PG rated on the romance. The mystery stars front and foremost, with a lovely romance forming on the side. It is obvious (she) has done a lot of research on the subject matter, which is well appreciated. Although part of a trilogy, this book can be read in any order as a standalone without having read any other books in either of the Eaton trilogies. There aren't any real interconnecting characters like previous books. I have been a fan of this author's Women of Eaton trilogy, which are fantastic fast reads, filled with real, well written characters, and scorching hot sexy romances. This spinoff series, Secrets of a Eaton, seems to be taking a new direction of mystery romance. The previous book one, Consequences, was a gorgeous second chance romance with mature characters, with a murder mystery as a secondary storyline. I loved it!! Loved the ending (huge smile on face!!). Great mystery, and will be reading more from this author.
