Rosalie Bell started running with her brother months before the Blackwater incident. With a troubled past, she hoped for a better life in the Van der Linde gang. John Marston has been with the gang for years. To him, there was always something about Rosalie and her tendency for not caring. As soon as she appeared he was drawn to her. After years of not much contact Eliza debated on going back to the State of New Austin, she hasn't been down that way since Arthur's body was buried and the rest of her gang spread to the wind. However as the year 1900 was a new decade which changed America rapidly, thus Eliza wished to catch up with an old friend down by Beecher's Hope to see dear John Marston. Leaving her home along with a friend, she began travelling all the way from South America to the West to check up on John to only come towards an empty ranch along with a complicated road ahead of her. Her time here would become interesting as she assists her partner in crime once again.

The game begins in 1911, where John Marston , a former outlaw, is taken from his family by the Bureau of Investigation. They state Marston will be granted amnesty if he brings the remaining members of his old gang to justice. Marston agrees and sets off to track down Bill Williamson, who now runs his own gang. Marston confronts Williamson at his stronghold, Fort Mercer, only to be shot and left for dead. Follow John Maston on his journey to bring his family back

A little tribute story to John Marston, from the point of view from Jack Marston, don't know how far this'll go, but I thought it would have made a damn good intro to the game. Maybe it's just me. I kinda got this idea from a YouTube comment stating that in the last Mission of red dead redemption 2, John should wear Arthur's old clothes as they ascend the mountains to find Micah so when Micah looks out, he'll see his dreaded enemy return from the grave and how his past has caught up to him but I figured instead of John, it should be Arthur's bastard Son (non Canon) Theodore Morgan.
