Her house is a rather violent one. Particularly, her father. He beats his wife whenever he judges she deserves. He is also very rude and violent towards his daughter, Susanne. Susanne is really into science, and wills to become a scientist herself. She's absolutely obsessed with paranormal things, and believes there is intelligent life out there. "We can't be the only ones in this vast universe. We just can't. It's impossible," she often says. But everyone in her class looks at her as if she were crazy. Even her parents think that, as well. But behind a mask of alleged happiness lays a despaired feeling. She has an old radio in her bedroom which she uses as a way to communicate with other plans of existence. This is only the first chapter of my story, "Dado". Of course, this is only a preview of the story and not the entire thing. You do not have to read it if you don't want to! All I can say, is this story is about robots and martians on, of course, Mars. The martians are actually a species of Jellyfish that originated on Mars. They are usually about 7'0" tall, and have no eyes(yes, they are immortal too, like normal jellyfish. Until something kills it). There are some robots who are built to do certain things, like serving, building, crafting, traveling, mailing, recording, a whole bunch of stuff! But they still have emotions, and the option to decide for themselves. The main character is named Die. He is a servant bot made to serve... If that wasn't obvious. The first thirty years of his life aren't going so well, and he has a somewhat abusive master who leaves him in a dark room until she needs him to do things. What would happen if she lost the keys to the room? I don't know. You decide! That line of questioning was only to perk your feet up in excitement. That part doesn't really happen, haha. Anyways I hope you enjoy if you are going to read it!

When humans weren't satisfied with the destruction they brought to Earth, Mars was next on their list. And it looks like Aileen was the required sacrifice. (it's a story I wrote for a competition and I'd appreciate it if you guys would give it a chance)

To be unable to express your emotions except through flowers or to be so emotionally broken that flowers have lost their meaning. Which would be more unfortunate? ··· Not sure how short or long this story will be. I'm just winging it and writing what my little heart desires. I do have a plotline however.
