Ever since her complicated relationship with a world-known criminal mastermind was cut short with a bullet through his brain she has been on the run from his endless enemies, all wanting their final chance at revenge. reader, John, and Sherlock have a discussion, leading to some unraveling feelings.

After John dies, Sherlock finds himself turning back to his old life of drinking, drugs and smoking. He stops taking cases until, 6 months after John's death, he takes one to get Mycroft to stop nagging. The case reveals to Sherlock a lot of new things about John's death and put his friendship to the test.
