Watson is happily married to his wife. Moriarty globally announced his return. Sherlock now has a new 'live- in' called Grace. For Sherlock, Moriarty is the least of his worries. There's a new criminal out on the streets who goes by the name 'knox' and in Sherlock's opinion, they are far more dangerous than Mr sex. Knox has a huge interest in Grace but what happens when the consulting detective and the consulting criminal fall for Grace? Will they work together to protect her or will there be conflict?

I wrote this like two whole years ago and I decided to read it and like,,, why not publish it now lol -you are now traveling back to meet my 2018 self- Katherine Miller has had a quiet life ever since she moved to London and befriended John Watson. But when John gets a roommate, Katherine's life is turned upside down. Relations with the consulting detective Sherlock Holmes could open up her heart to new possibilities, or paint a target on her back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't own anything from BBC Sherlock! I tried to make my own story as much as possible while following the storyline of the BBC Sherlock, so I hope you enjoy! This is my first fanfic, so apologies if it's no good. When her father is approached by Thorin Oakenshield to accompany him on a quest, Laelia can't help but be frightened. Her father is frail and injured, the burns from Smaug never fully healed when they were attacked in Erebor 60 years ago. She takes his place on the quest, although Thorin thinks she's too young and irritating as she constantly defies him during their long journey. But he feels something for her even though he's not exactly sure what it is. Thorin will be challenged to fight hard for what he loves, because there are others who want it too. ~All "Hobbit" characters, the storyline and some of the talking parts belong to J.R.R.
