Mario is the older, braver, and more recognized brother, with Luigi, the shy, heartfelt, and quietly recalled brother as an accomplice in all of their crusades. But who were they? Were they always as they seemed? Or were they merely a fragment of imagination, brought to life by someone whose existence has been erased and forgotten, placed into the illusion of reality? Who are the brothers? Who is Luigi? And why does he seem to know more than he lets on? Could he be remembering what has long been forgotten? His previous life?
