It all starts with what should've been a simple recon mission. In 1998. At a science fair. Because of course it does. Sara should've known better than to let Nate and Ray near experimental quantum devices labeled "Temporal Echo Chamber - Do Not Touch." She really should have. But she blinked, they poked something, and now... now they had a six-year-old Mick Rory trying to set fire to the Waverider's kitchen because Amaya wouldn't let him have marshmallows for breakfast. Young Nate was explaining dinosaurs to Gideon with a level of confidence that suggested he'd definitely never seen one. Tiny Ray was crying because his favorite action figure was missing a leg. (It was in his pocket. Of course.) And mini Sara? Oh, she was already trying to hotwire the jump ship. Barely three feet tall and already plotting world domination. Amaya blinked. "How do you do this?" she asked Sara, voice low and honestly a little desperate.
