Martyn is a young, free spirited pirate on one of the biggest pirate ships in the world. His captain has heard the rumors of a siren living on the Coral Isles. Prince Ren never asked for a crown, nor the weight of titles. All he wanted was to play music-gentle, aching melodies strummed on delicate string instruments. He preferred lutes carved from silverwood and dark rose, guitars that hummed like whispers in the wind, and a weathered ocarina shaped like a teardrop, soft blue and always warm in his hands. The music was his comfort, his rebellion, and his quiet prayer. When the castle halls echoed with the fury of yet another war-when his family shouted about borders, bloodlines, and broken alliances-Ren would slip away. He would wander down secret paths only he remembered, through the whispering trees and into the Outcast: a forgotten grove hidden beneath a blanket of old magic and ivy. There, surrounded by peace and silence, he built a sanctuary. His instruments were stored in hollowed trunks, carefully wrapped in velvet and tucked away from the wrath of his father, who believed music was weakness and tried to destroy every string Ren cherished. Beyond the grove, just past the moss-covered stones, was his garden-his true kingdom. It bloomed wildly with flowers the color of fire and dusk: deep reds, scarlets, and wine-dark crimsons. Vines heavy with red fruit twisted through the branches, fragrant and sweet, tangled like forgotten lullabies. The air was thick with the scent of crushed petals and ripe berries, warm earth and song. And in the heart of it all, Ren would sit and play. Unbeknownst to him, the sorrow in his songs, the ache in every note, stirred something old and hidden beneath the soil. His music, filled with longing and beauty, began to call to magic itself-something ancient, something listening, something waiting to be found.

Deep within the tangled root systems of the Mycelium Wilds, hidden beneath layers of moss and illusion magic, lies a facility no outsider was ever meant to find. A soft, eerie green glow pulses from the center chamber-originating from two towering bioluminescent tubes filled with strange liquid. Suspended inside are two unconscious figures-non-Hermits. Unknowns. Intruders? Gem guards them the closest, her usually cheerful demeanor replaced by unnerving calm precision as she monitors their vitals and neural patterns on flickering arcane tech. Something about their biology doesn't match anything in the Hermit archives. Their presence here... it doesn't make sense. It shouldn't be possible. Zedaph paces restlessly, muttering hypotheses too wild even for him, his hair faintly crackling with static. Etho, nearly silent, lingers in the shadows-watchful, calculating. He hasn't said who he thinks they are, but something in his posture suggests he already knows. Or worse-recognizes them. And then, one of the tubes flickers. The vitals spike. Gem stares. Because for a single second... the being inside the tube opens one glowing eye-and smiles. Whatever they are, they're waking up. And they're not alone in there.

(The cover is not my art) Martyn was a pirate on a mission. He and is crew were sailing the seas in the look out for a siren. They looked everywhere and found nothing, until they were in the waters of a small Oceanside town. Scott was a siren who lived with this friends (as his family was dead) in the waters near a small town. Scott often hung with the sailors while he also sold coral and fish in town for food and money. They both lived very different lives. Their futures were all ready set. That was until they met. When Martyn laid his eyes on Scott fate changed. Will they ever be together? Or are their lives too different And set paths too far away? (This might go unfinished up it will be my summer goal to finish it so I hope I do and wether I do or not I hope you enjoy, also trust the process as it starts in 1st person but turns 3rd when it gets more into the story)
