Aminat jumped from her bed the instant the concussive sound reached her ears, a sweaty hand grabbed hers which hung freely by her side from the lower four poster bed, she flinched at first but realised it was Lucia. "Slush! Don't shout." Lucia whispered as she rolled from the bed and crouched toward the glass window. Two silhouette cuddled together on a bed opposite theirs shivered, it was dark, light was out, it was a foolish idea to even attempt to switch a lamp on. Whatever it was she needed to know. "What is it?" she asked, instinctively reaching for her shawl. Her attempted was interrupted with a gunshot and the blood curdling shriek of a girl. "Pleeese!" ...WHERE GIRLS DISAPPEARED IN ONE NIGHT... ...the story of martyrdom, of love, of the stolen, the lost, and their freedom... ...CHIBOK... Comments on CHIBOK by @Nigerians_community in The Nigerians Book Awards. This book! Awesome! Very awesome! The descriptions are one of a kind, so vivid and imaginable. The use of words and vocabulary is very adequate and interesting. The title is even catchy and everything about the book screams Nigerian. It is one that any reader would definitely want to finish no matter what. Kudos to the writer!! I'm proud and I'm so glad to have judged this book else I wouldn't have got to know about such a good book. I can hardly find any mistake in it, it's beautifully and awesomely written. CHIBOK is a must read book, a must finish book and it's my own winner❤. THANKS ALOT @lazypenNaija and @ ur_favouritexx

"The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the most enduring and complex disputes of modern times. Central to this conflict is the persistent question of a two-state solution-a vision for coexistence that seems ever elusive. This essay delves into the roles of key Palestinian factions, including the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas, unraveling their historical and contemporary stances. It exposes the ideological and political roots of their rejection of a two-state solution and their unwavering commitment to the eventual elimination of the Jewish state. Through an examination of policies, rhetoric, and actions, coupled with the influence of regional dynamics and Iranian backing, the essay offers a nuanced and critical perspective on why peace remains an elusive dream. Uncover the deep-seated motivations, the internal contradictions, and the broader implications of the PA and Hamas's positions in this comprehensive analysis."

They say he walked like a god amongst them. The blood in his veins was two-fold ichor. A prince carved from ivory and born of the frightful storm, his scars shone silver and gold. But there are times when even the gods disappear from the face of the earth. ~~~~ Cover by @spiritmist

When Krishna Speaks: The Tale of Immortal Courage In this captivating narrative, Lord Krishna takes center stage as He recounts the heartrending tale of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's four sons and their ultimate sacrifices for faith and righteousness. Under the shade of a celestial banyan tree, an assembly of seekers gathers to hear about the siege of Chamkaur, the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas, and the unshakable courage of the young warriors who chose dharma over life itself. As Krishna weaves the story, the audience learns of the Guru's unyielding spirit, the divine rebuke of Aurangzeb through the Zafarnama, and the justice meted out to tyrants like Wazir Khan. With themes of unwavering faith, divine justice, and the eternal triumph of righteousness, Krishna's words resonate as a timeless call to action for all who walk the path of truth. This is a tale of sacrifice, divine wisdom, and the undying light of dharma, as told by the eternal voice of compassion and truth-Lord Krishna.
