I never realized what I was getting myself in to. I always knew I was different, my parents called it "special" but I didn't want to be "special" I wanted to be normal. I ignored the part of me that was different, didn't want it to come out. Whenever something strange would happened, I would push down the thoughts that I did anything and say it wasn't strange, that things like this happened to everybody. Before I started ignoring my "abilities" I would pretend I was a part of the X-Men. It wasn't long after that I realized that they were ridiculed, laughed at, and even considered scary. I didn't want that, so I stopped. Eventually I convinced myself I was normal. Eventually I didn't even think about my so called "powers", at least not until high school....
