Steve is not the most up to date guy around. Heck, the guy barely knows how to use YouTube, let alone know anything about the LGBTQ+ community - especially since the community was taboo in the 1940s. Peter Parker, on the other hand, has grown up in a relatively accepting time. With his help, Steve learns about bisexuality, and realizes that he might not have been straight all along.... I do not really touch on it in this story, but note that both Steve and Bucky - as well as all the other Avengers - would have some serious trauma that would impact their lives quite a bit.
