The two of them have become friends with his frequent visits and when his fellow artists begin to act inappropriately with the reader Steve steps in to defend her honor. He never would have taken on such a huge responsibility, but JARVIS had promised to help, so he decided to give parenting a try; little did he know then how much JARVIS would mean to the both of you until he was gone.

Steve is not the most up to date guy around. Heck, the guy barely knows how to use YouTube, let alone know anything about the LGBTQ+ community - especially since the community was taboo in the 1940s. Peter Parker, on the other hand, has grown up in a relatively accepting time. With his help, Steve learns about bisexuality, and realizes that he might not have been straight all along.... I do not really touch on it in this story, but note that both Steve and Bucky - as well as all the other Avengers - would have some serious trauma that would impact their lives quite a bit. Because the movies don't really touch on these struggles, I recommend researching how this condition effects people (but please mind your own health to! If it gets too much, please step back and take a break!) and how we as a society can help create a space where people are safe and comfortable.
