Oh god what am I getting myself into I have read a lot of these. They seem like fun, so I'M DOING ONE TOO! And I know perfectly well how horrible it is. Let's see if I survive...

Marysues? Avoidable. Flaws? Necessary. Uniqueness? Easy. Don't get down on yourself if you have troubles with character development. It's easy as time goes on. Need some pointers? Here, take this.

Remember, having Sue traits doesn't always mean your character is bad. Context and how the character is written are important! You can't have a character blurb with all the potentially dangerous traits listed and expect someone to be able to tell whether or not it's a Mary Sue/Gary Stu. Writing well is far more complicated than that. If you are worried about your character, trust your gut instinct and get someone you know will be objective to review your story, not just the character alone.

If you are going to be whiny and want to complain in the comments, I suggest you go to aisle 9. Again don't get butthurt by my sarcasm. The last thing I need are whiny fangirls complaining to me saying "Oh this character is totally fine! Stop being a bully!!!" And stuff like that. All of the improper grammar is on purpose. My rants about Mary Sues, cliches, stereotypes, and generally things that annoy me in fanfiction and Internet literature. Also some VERY sensible reasons why some cliches don't even make sense, and why I think they are so daft.

Cliché, over used plots and Mary Sues. Each chapter a whole new cliché-filled short story, each one with a different topic. I hope you enjoy it. (You probably would shudder a lot for how cheesy and cliché-y it is, though)
