He knew the minute his mother showed up, his quiet life with his niece was going to be ruined, but he wasn't expecting to see the woman he gave up in order to give Mary as normal of a life as he could give her. Set in the movie Gifted starring Chris Evans and Mckenna Grace. Essentially a canon divergence story.

And once you two graduated, you were happy because you moved away from him, glad to never see him again. Years pass and you move in next to Frank, you've seen how he's grown. He still hasn't forgiven you for everything you've done to him, and he keeps avoiding you. But when his niece Mary creates a relationship with you, that doesn't make Frank to happy.

It's been three whole months since the trial that had threatened to take Mary away. Now, she happily attends Oaks Academy in Florida and is happy living with her uncle. But something is different. Mary has been acting strange lately and it's up to Frank to figure out exactly what's going on with his sweet niece.
