Set on the day of the bet gala. Mary finds herself on the dance floor alone. Her supposed 'date' is nowhere to be found. She sighs, defeated. "I should've known. She'd never genuinely ask me out. YUMEKIRAAAAAAAAAAA♥️💙 Takes place after Yumeko becomes a house pets after bet gala. Yumeko is attempting to acclimatise to this new house pet lifestyle after purposely losing to Ryan, which made a large scene and certainly caused a ruckus. Everyone in the school is treating her like a nobody that can be ordered around. Even fellow house pets are laughing, amused at her downfall. However, she doesn't want to get used to house pet life too fast, she can't. She has to get to the student council. For her parents. For revenge. For closure. Closure of knowing that she and her parents can rest well as their killer is six feet down, being slowly decomposed. But she can't get ahead of herself. One step at a time. First order of business being to get back over the line. No more debt. That could take a while, and she doesn't have time to waste. But, even as she works she feels a presence. She can quickly glance and see Runa's beaver, lingering. Watching. Coincidence? Possibly. Kira, however, doesn't want to celebrate the win she got from Yumeko. Yumeko is bound to put a plan into action almost effective immediately. And she has to counter that somehow. Kira has to keep an eye on her, as she's warned Yumeko previously. "I'll be keeping my eye on you." Kira watches her from afar; an action to maintain her position and to ensure the safety of it. Or is it? Maybe that's just what Kira says to herself so she can sleep at night.

This is supposed to be a «continuation» of bet so this Fanfic takes place right after Riri said «do you want to get out of here?» to Mary. This is of course a romantic wlw fanfic about Mary and Riri from bet, it might include other ships too, but meariri is the main ship here and the story focuses mainly on their relationship and perspectives. That means other characters like Ryan or Michael will be underpriorotized as they don't have much connection with Mary nor Riri. The fic has now included Yumekira as a ship and their pov's are also there to add dept to the story. Yumeko's revenge will to a certain degree be here, as it will affect Meariri too. Remember this is just a fanfic and what is written might not be canon in season 2 of bet. Note: 1st chapter might start off cringe, but trust the process it's all a part of it. 2nd Note: Remember that when it's in a characters pov, we're seeing the actions and perceiving them from their perspective. If the same action would be from another characters pov then the reaction or perception may be totally different as everyone has their own ways of thinking.
