Spring break starts and Regulus Black has no plans as usual except to finish reading his long list of books. He attends the local college nearby and is finally in his last year before he graduates. He lives in a pretty small town and there is only one place where he can get his books which is a small bookstore owned by Euphemia and Fleamont Potter called 'The Potter's Shelf'. He knows the Potters pretty well as he goes there nearly everyday and his brother Sirius lives with them. The second day of break, Regulus enters the shop to find a new face working. James Potter.

He sighed as he looked up at James, even though he was drunk he was done with that joke, it was overused and not funny. Regulus shook his head at James as James burst out laughing. "No, stop with that." He said as he slapped James lightly on his cheek. James grinned at him. "But, I'm serious Jamie, I like you." "Oh, like friends?" James questioned. "No." Regulus pulled away from James. "Oh." Came the reply from James. Honestly, James hadn't expected that. Regulus was too drunk to care about what he said at that moment, but he knew he would regret it as soon as he woke up tomorrow. "Reg, I don't like you like that..." Oh Oh.

And he knew what would happened if the Heir of the Black family left and took the second in line with him. Sirius had helped Regulus enough throughout the years, it was finally Regulus' turn to repay the favour, whether Sirius knew it or not. A/N- Regulus is 14 turning 15, Sirius is 15 turning 16. This will be a romance fic!

It is James' 5th year at Hogwarts meaning it is only Regulus' 4th. Sirius received a letter from Regulus with some very strange information. Regulus has to stay with Sirius throughout the whole year.
