When Julia is running late to work, she runs into Jack. A humble lamplighter. Over time the two develop into something wonderful, as Jack brings Julia into a fantastical world where she meets the Banks family and Mary Poppins.

This is just a random idea I thought of because Mary is one of my top comfort characters and not a lot of people write about her, so I though I'd give it a try!

Now an adult with three children, bank teller Michael Banks learns that his house will be repossessed in five days unless he can pay back a loan. His only hope is to find a missing certificate that shows proof of valuable shares that his father left him years earlier. Just as all seems lost, Michael, Maddie, and Jane receive the surprise of a lifetime when Mary Poppins and Martha -- the beloved nannies from their childhood -- arrive to save the day and take the Banks family on a magical, fun-filled adventure.

What does Mary Poppins do when she leaves the banks? She must get lonely when she's not taking care of children. I mean everyone gets lonely sometimes, even the practically perfect Mary Poppins. Everything belongs to their rightful owners!! You know of the original story with Michael and Jane, but did you know that they had a younger sister named May? She has dark brown hair like her father and brother has and beautiful blue eyes like her sister's.
