A danger is now following our favorite brunette assistant and it's up to Naru to try to protect her as ordered by his twin who hasn't crossed over for some reason. Shibuya Psychic Research is hired to investigate a delapidated Tokyo schoolhouse. The same day they begin, Ghost Hunt fan girl Nira Narumi falls into the story and meets Kazuya Shibuya, SPR's handsome and narcissistic CEO and strike a deal to last several cases. In the anime Ghost Hunt, We go back to the second case with the haunted doll, er' at least that's where it all begins with John Brown Bringing his younger sister with him to the case, so the second day of the case with the doll house to be correct ... & a few things change, instead of weird Japan names for the 2 women & little girl, it's going American! No one knows Naru's true identity yet. Mai confesses but got shot down by Naru, saying "Is it me you love or the one in your dreams?" Naru knows it's Gene but they don't. Mai tells him, " No cause the one in my dreams isn't you." Naru denies her answer, thinking that her gut feeling and intuition is wrong. One day a surprise happened to Mai. The year above her we're doing a baby's project where they take care of an orphan infant for a year, and have a choice to adopt on the end. It just so happens that one baby is left without a pair of people to take care of him. No one would take him, and so Mai decided she would.

After his release from the hospital after the cave incident, Naru takes on a new, dangerous case involving a powerful monster. He hopes to find clues about his dead brother but instead, Mai and the rest of the team finally uncover the lies and truths he holds, as well as the new emotions he hoped never to reveal but can't control any longer when Mai goes missing for his sake.
