Best friends forever, that is what people always say, but when does it ever mean anything? Luke and Gracelynn, two very naive children, thought they would be always be friends forever. Then they were separated by a terrible situation. Luke promised, to always protect her, but he never came through. And now, Grace doesn't believe in forever. She lost hope when she lost Luke. Not to mention her life has been nothing but a nightmare since she and Luke were separated. So what happens when Grace spots that blonde-haired blue-eyed boy on the computer screen, living his dreams, just like they always talked about? They are about to find out...

"You've made the biggest mistake and you don't even realise it." Michael choked out the words, staring out into the dark night sky. The stars and moon were blurred from the tears that dared to fall from his eyes. "And what would that be?" Luke scoffed from the other end of the phone. He sounded angry, but still somehow used the soft tone of voice that he always had while talking to Michael. "You fell in love with me." He let out the words quickly, not wanting to change his mind. As soon as the words slipped from his mouth, he pulled the phone away from his ear, ending the call and throwing it across the room. He instantly fell to the floor, hot tears uncontrollably streaming down his face. "I just can't love you back."

A human is not food. Not in Michael's eyes at least. He doesn't talk to humans and stays out of people's way, then his temptations don't get the best of him. What happens when he meets up with Ashton in a boys bathroom, with blood dripping down his arm. Michael starts to protect the self harming kid, even if it means to drive himself insane.

They become best friends and with two other guys called Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood. They're is one unusual thing that happens to Michael and he doesn't know if it's just a stupid crush or love? Mikey doesn't even know if the person he likes will even accept him for who he is. The boy is confused and doesn't know what to do. But what if on the other side the things are the same? Should he tell his friends or keep it his little secret? Will the things that Michael wants happen? And will he form a band?

Michael Clifford is just the ordinary Aussie boy, who moved to England because his mother got a new job. He left everything he knew behind to start a new life. He meets three guys, Ashton, Calum and Luke, they end up to be best friends. But deep down Michael get butterflies, just by the tought of Ashton, he's dated a few girls throughout his life, but none of them has ever made him feel like this before, Michael isn't sure what it is, but maybe Ashton is going to help him figure out.
