Miraculous Adventures of Ladybug and Chat Noir tell a tragic love story. Marinette Du pen Chang and Adrien Agresset are secretly the super heroines, Ladybug and Chat Noir. Marinette (who happens to be Ladybug) is helplessly in love with Adrien(who happens to be Chat Noir) , but he has no idea. Chat is just as in love with Ladybug, but she won't have it. What happens when the masks are removed and their true identities are revealed? . . . . I don't own miraculous or any of the characters. The cover for this book is also not mine, credit to @audreyempowers on instagram or yunyin.tumblr.com/ for that amazing artwork!

His cheeks were dusted pink and he was as stoic as ever. Yet, deep down, and deep in his eyes, the eyes that brought me solace, I saw disappointment, I saw rejection, and I saw sadness. His eyes spoke to me, telling me he wanted me to kiss him back, he wanted to show me what he felt because his words failed him. But he didn't need to say anything, his eyes told me everything. They told me he didn't leave me, they showed me the fire of anger and righteousness, and they told me one very important thing. One thing I knew all along, ever since that moment when we spoke in the classroom about Oikawa and (Bff/N), ever since he saw me in the art class or borrowed the green paint. I knew it when he chased me down in the park, and when I cried, and when we had lunch, and when he took me to (Bff/N). It was in every look I gave him, it was in that nagging feeling and need to look at him in art class, it was in the calmness of his voice. It was also in the way his voice pulled me out of my deepest pit, and in the way his name was the only thing I could and wanted to focus on in that pit. It was always there, but I never recognized it. That small voice at the back of my head was telling me this all along, but I didn't understand her language back then. I didn't understand. But I decoded it, his eyes helped me learn the language. His eyes told me he was the one. ~| *** |~ "Just don't run." He said, making me gasp and slap his shoulder. It was as if he thought exactly the same thing as I did. "That depends on you, Iwa. Don't make me run away." He smiled, pulling back away from me and held his pinky in front of me. "Pinky-promise?" I couldn't help myself anymore. I don't think I would be able to live without this dork. "Pinky-promise."

The annual Masquerade Ball of Unity has been labeled the event of the year for centuries. A way for the 16-year-olds of Norvinia to get a night full of dancing, delicious food, and gorgeous gowns free of any charge. There are only 4 rules: 1. Every eligible teen must attend. 2. No entrance to the ball past 6:15 3. No leaving until 12:00, no exceptions. and 4. Masks stay on. Teens everywhere spend weeks trying to find the perfect dress and mask for a once-in-a-lifetime event. But for Esmé Grace, a girl who has recently lost her father, she would rather do anything else. Her expectations for the night consist of hiding in a corner, and counting the seconds until she can leave. But after she discovers the sinister meaning behind the ball, Esmé finds herself caught in a war between doing what she knows is right or giving in to the fear that has plagued her decisions for as long as she remembers. Masks Off is a story full of betrayal, romance, and adventure. ( Keep in mind that this is the first draft of the book. So, there may be some mistakes. If you see any, please feel free to comment so I can fix them :) Any feedback/advice would also be extremely appreciated. )
