The only problem is that Coda hates sea monsters, she has never met or seen a sea monster.. she doesn't know her own parents Luca and Alberto are sea monsters. When beatstar is seperated from her tribe and family in a terrible rainstorm, she winds up in portorosso where she meets Alberto Scorfano, a free-spirited, independent sea monster who promises to return beatstar to her home by winning the portorosso cup to get a vespa. Along the way the two will begin to explore the depths of love as the two different species begin to fall for each other. Will beatstar return to techno reef and stay with her dear sea monster? or will it tear them apart?

Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, an epic, romantic coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides, and a young girl forced to live in fear with her older sister wanting more to explore in life. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply held secret: he is a sea monster from another world just below the water's surface.

Winter vacation came, and the Underdogs reunited, spending time together for only 2 weeks, as they and their families travelled to another country. It wasn't easy for the three pre-teens to adjust living in a different place until they met a new friend.

It's the summer after Luca's first year at school. Over the year, he's had a lot of time to think about things, including his and alberto's friendship. But.. he can't quite figure out what it is about their friendship that feels different. kenna has awoken the luca fandom. if you'd have told me in 2021 that luberto was canon i'd have probs had a mental breakdown. i'm genuinely so happy!! i can't wait to write this story. it's the second luberto one i've done, however the other one is on private cos it's crap. hopefully i've improved since then!!

Hello! I'm sorry but sadly I won't continue this story. I got tired of it and I'm not really in the Luca fandom anymore. There is literally over 53 thousand words left to write in this story and I simply do not have the time or energy to do that. But, I still might continue one day and if you all want I can post the rest of the text. But beware, it's a long raw, unedited text and it's not completely finished and it's missing some parts. After the passing of her mother, Maria's father, Eric, gets her a job at an aquarium with her friends since her and her mother loved the ocean and the sea life. When Maria's boss brings new associates that carry a strange creature into the aquarium for display, Maria forms an unlikely bond with the creature and must help it escape back to the ocean before the associates find it and kill it.

Luca's second year at school was not as he had anticipated at all. And things go from bad to worse. Feeling unsafe, Luca convinces his parents to send him to the deep, where he can be alone in his head space and out of sight from judging eyes How can he ever overcome his depleting self esteem alone? Basically gonna be angst, but also good times and getting hurt. ^^ Disclaimer: I HAVE NO IDEA HOW DIFFERENT SCHOOLS WERE LIKE IN THE 1950-60s. Perhaps I should've done a bit more research (i DID ask my dad about his school life tho so maybe that helps), but this is my first fanfic ever(that doesn't involve being homework) so I don't really wanna over do it I just fail to think school would be such an accepting place for Luca, speaking from my experiences. I mean the first year, sure, but the other years? Kids are assholes, schools don't do shit and we know it. Also I was gonna post this on AO3.
