Founder & MD of Women in Sports India (WISI), Ms. Vaidehi Vaidya recently graced the IISM campus for an inspiring Masterclass session. Exclusively addressing all the girl students of IISM, she put forth her perspective on how women can break the glass ceiling in India's sports industry and make a name for themselves. Having been a footballer herself ⚽ and worked with the UEFA and Asian Football Development Project, Ms. Vaidya gave a sense of direction and motivation to our girls by drawing on her practical experience of working with female athletes, coaches, and administrators. IISM was honoured to welcome Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award Recipient, Commodore Pushpendra Garg. Besides his 35 years of service in the Indian Navy, he was also the CEO of the Target Olympic Podium Scheme at the Sports Authority of India (SAI). During his Masterclass sessions at the IISM campus, he gave his eloquent insights about the India's evolving outlook towards sports as a tool for 'nation-building'.
