Love is banned and if seen then it's shot. A rebel will happen, who knows? it's in their hands to be together and earn the freedom for all but the master found a medicine called the black Jasmine petals, two grams cause a person to slowly lose their mind, . who knows, maybe give it to Ayaka. A wind whistles through the dead corpses, dawnfall snow covers the dried mark of punishment as the withered fields turns into a wastelands. I wrote the bulk of this story in 2009 - 2012 (and completed the final two chapters in 2022) as an experiment along just those lines: a MOTU adventure in the style of Robert E. Howard, of whose works the MOTU franchise has always been derivative. Those early minicomics, beautifully illustrated by Alfredo Alcala and Mark Texiera, captivated my youthful imagination and led to my eventual love of prewar American pulp fiction. This story draws mostly on that canon, with some Filmation elements as well.
