As Hyrule stands on the edge of change, Zelda is determined to understand her kingdom beyond the castle walls. Joined by her appointed knight, Link, she travels across fields, villages, and ancient ruins-searching for answers, a purpose, and a power that refuses to awaken. What begins as obligation slowly turns into something deeper. Between long roads, quiet campfires, and shared silences, walls begin to fall. Zelda starts to see the guy behind the sword, and Link finds himself drawn to the princess behind the crown. But with the weight of prophecy looming and untold dangers stirring beneath the land, time is not on their side. As Hyrule prepares for a future it may not survive, two hearts begin to change in ways neither of them expected.

Link is shown in a new story, not made by Nintendo this time. By a fan. Link meets a new villain, Ronor, but will this be his final opponent?

The fable behind the events of Breath of The Wild, following the childhood of both Link and Zelda as they navigate their lives, coming up against battles and heartbreaks alike. We begin six years before the calamity, while the unbeknownst heroes are little over twelve. Link pulls the sword from the temple of time, and is forced to pack his bags for the castle... to accept his doomed title. Despite the rocky start, Link eventually finds himself acquainted with friends Mipha and Renado, while Zelda deals with more familial issues. Slowly but surely, the world begins to show signs of it's demise; blood moons, skeletal monsters, and backstabbing machines. This is an ongoing story with a slow burn romance at its core. Their wildfire relationship endures childish twists and turns, but Link and Zelda will ultimately have to come together to face the calamity which threatens to plague Hyrule... After reading through Creating a Champion, I had one burning question. On page 376, under the paragraph titled 'The Hero Chosen by the Master Sword', we read: "It is said that the legendary Master Sword can only be wielded by a hero chosen by the sword itself, and it's whereabouts had long been a mystery. The details of how Link obtained the sword a hundred years ago have been lost to the mists of time, but since he was in possession of it for a number of years prior to becoming a Champion, he was likely around twelve or thirteen years old when it happened." okay, but HOW DID HE DO IT??? *Set after the events of Breath of the Wild It has been two years since the fall of Ganon. Hyrule has been returned to its former glory. There is only one problem. Accoridng to tradition, Princess (Y/N) cannot be recognized as the next ruler of Hyrule until she has been married. A week of masquerade royal balls have been scheduled, and (Y/N) will have to choose a suitor. At the first dance, she meets a handsome stranger and falls in love. Many years before the events of Twilight Princess a raider king known as Ganondorf plundered the noble land of Hyrule. However the first part of this story explains the reasons behind Ganon's attacks on the not so innocent Hyrulian people. The second part will eventually lead into a Midlink fanfic. *Currently on hold might get picked back up but probably not any time soon... sorry* Calamity Ganon is on the brink of returning and all citizens of Hyrule are in a panic. Link has a new amount of stress on his shoulders ever since he pulled up the master sword and was revealed to be the chosen one that is meant to seal the darkness. Him and four others were appointed champions that are to work together to seal the Calamity away. Along with this Link has the stress of wanting to keep a good relationship with his father and sister as well as figure out these sudden feelings he is having for the Zora Princess as well as protecting Princess Zelda who continues to give him the cold shoulder. As Hyrule gets closer to the day of Calamity Ganon's return Link and the other champions have to learn how to get along and perfect their roles. Something nobody else seems to remember is that Link and Zelda are both only 16/17 and have the fate of Hyrule resting on their shoulders. Will Hyrule be saved or will it crumble to pieces in front of these two young hero's eyes? . . Cover art is not mine. This is just what I imagined happened and Link's personality is the personality I imagine him having, my apologize if you don't agree.
