When December arrives, rising star Sara "Eden" Silva decides to escape Hollywood's noise the only way a Brazilian knows how: sunshine, beaches, music, and a house hidden on a private island in Angra dos Reis. To keep things light, she invites her closest friends from the Stranger Things cast for a month of peace far from fans, cameras, and the pressure of fame.
At least... that was the plan.
Among them is Joe Keery-her romantic partner on-screen, the one she used to laugh with between takes... until the scenes stopped being funny. Until the kisses felt too real. Until something unspoken grew so loud it ruined the ease they once had.
Joe insists he needs the trip to finish his new album and "get his head right." Sara just wants to forget the one man who made her drop her hatred for men for five minutes-and hates herself for it.
But Angra changes them.
In the quiet of the island, Joe discovers a new version of Sara, bright and magnetic like sunlight on water. And Sara sees a Joe she never allowed herself to notice-gentle, searching, and undeniably drawn to her.
Like a sailor caught by a siren, Joe knows he should swim away.
Like a siren learning loneliness, Sara isn't sure she wants him to.
One island.
One month.
Two hearts pretending nothing ever happened.
Something is about to give.
