She, however, continued looking at him speculatively and he suddenly became very conscious. She wasn't looking at him. She was looking through him. "You should let go of the rope too," she suddenly spoke up again, her voice calm but somehow creepier than any horror movie. "It won't help you mend the broken blade." With that said, she got up and began to walk away, leaving him staring at her disappearing figure as a strange mixture of confusion, lostness and hope bubbled within him. Her words resounded in his ears almost painfully, as though mocking him. But he realised only later that his initial frustration had ebbed away." Slight AU, one-shot. I don't own Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy.

Years later, we'll look back on the memories with bittersweet smiles, she remembered thinking, reminiscing the times lost to the past. Set post-Galaxy. I don't own Inazuma Eleven GO.
